Trantor Standard Systems was founded to do software development and consulting in 1992. In 2022 Trantor begins its 30th year of operation.
Work here has been on contract consulting for programming and systems development, and research into aspects of ‘Data Packaging’. Spin-offs of that long-term work include codecs used in hundreds of millions of devices from set-top boxes to automobiles.
Trantor has helped develop and support systems that work, large and small, from modest codecs and GUI retail systems to enormous finance and telecommunications systems serving millions.
For the most part, work has come from word-of-mouth referrals and repeat business, so there has not been a need to advertise services. As resources permit, the site will be updated to provide links to various work done.
